FRED shares shot up after reporting on Thursday that its same-store sales rose 4.6 percent in July, beating Wall Street analysts' estimates on higher traffic.

On Tuesday, the NYT reported that the CEO continually pursued risky mortgages aggressively. Today, Bloomberg reported that Freddie Mac "slashed its dividend at least 80 percent after posting a quarterly loss that was three times wider than analysts' estimates."
 
These matter not to us. Freddie Mac went on a Sell signal back in October 2007 when it was well over $40; It generated another sell signal in early July over $16.

(GM) said Friday its losses widened to $15.5 billion in the second quarter as North American sales plummeted and the company faced expenses due to labor unrest and its massive restructuring plan. The loss of $27.33 per share is the third-worst quarterly loss in the automaker's history. In the same period a year earlier.

 

GM has long been a low-ranked FusionIQ stock, hence why we have told investors to avoid it.  It presently is ranked a 12 out of a possible 100 in FusionIQ.  Therefore we would continue to expect GM to struggle and still consider it an issue to avoid.

Going forward, however, they will be aggressively managing the cost side of the equation in FPEG including the adjustment of cost structure in ways that will enable a sustainable, profitable business model...

 

However with a FusionIQ score that is still low, a 31 (Master Technical Score) – It appears EK shares will be dead money for a while.
